Western Australia’s innovation economy doesn’t exist in isolation — it competes with, and learns from, the other states. These figures track the size and momentum of the ecosystem: how much it’s worth, how much capital flows in, the value of the companies it produces, and the jobs it creates.
Start with where WA stands today, then follow the comparisons to see how the state measures up against the rest of Australia over time. Toggle per-capita to control for population, or year-on-year growth to see who’s accelerating.
