Who we are

Strengthening the ecosystem behind WA’s innovators and entrepreneurs
Meshpoints brings together the people and organisations working to build a stronger culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across Western Australia.
Through our Partner Network, Fund and WA Innovation Ecosystem Navigator, we connect organisations, invest in initiatives that respond to shared ecosystem needs, and make it easier to discover the support and opportunities available across WA.
Our approach is collaborative. We work alongside the ecosystem to identify gaps, strengthen connections and support initiatives that create meaningful, lasting impact, helping more Western Australians access the opportunities they need to innovate and thrive, regardless of their sector, stage or postcode.
Powered by Spacecubed and supported by Lotterywest, Meshpoints was established in 2022, with funding renewed in February 2026 for a further three years.

What we do
Three ways we strengthen the ecosystem

01
Partner Network
Organisations across WA collaborating to create connections and opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs.

02
Meshpoints Fund
Funding for initiatives that respond to identified ecosystem needs, through themed Challenges and IdeaStarter.

03
Ecosystem Navigator
Tools and resources to help people navigate the programs, funding and organisations across the WA ecosystem.
Our story
14 years of backing WA entrepreneurs
Meshpoints grew out of Spacecubed, which opened its first coworking space in Perth in 2012 and has since supported thousands of entrepreneurs. Spacecubed Foundation was set up as a charity to take that work beyond its own spaces and programs.

Mar 2012
Spacecubed opens at 45 St Georges Terrace, Perth, founded by Brodie McCulloch and Tom Tolchard.
2012 to 2022
Six spaces across Australia and programs like Plus Eight and Perth Landing Pad. Spacecubed Foundation is set up as a charity to widen the impact.
Jul 2022
Spacecubed Foundation launches Meshpoints with support from Lotterywest.
2023
The WA Ecosystem Index launches, later rebuilt as the Ecosystem Navigator.
Feb 2026
Lotterywest announces a further three years of support for Meshpoints.
