    How it works

From expression of interest to acquittal

Applications aren’t a single submission. The team works with you on the draft before it reaches the independent assessment panel.

    1. 1

      Submit an EOI

A short expression of interest with details about your project and your organisation.

    2. 2

Get invited to write an application

The Meshpoints team talks the idea through with you, and confirms it fits the fund and meets the eligibility requirements.

    3. 3

We work with you on it

You draft the application and budget, and a team member gives you feedback on it before it goes anywhere.

    4. 4

      You submit before the deadline

Once the draft has been reviewed you’re invited to submit through the application portal, ahead of the round’s assessment date.

    5. 5

      An independent panel assesses it

Experienced entrepreneurs and ecosystem participants score applications against the published criteria, and may ask clarifying questions.

    6. 6

We notify you of the outcome

Every applicant is told in writing. Successful grants are 90% paid on acceptance of the grant agreement.

    7. 7

      You deliver, report and acquit

Projects usually run up to six months, with a progress update along the way and an acquittal at the end, which releases the final 10%.
