The Hub on SX (HOSX) is a not-for-profit coworking community in Fremantle dedicated to sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Founded by the engineering team at Metis Design & Engineering, the hub provides flexible workspace, shared offices and meeting facilities for impact-driven professionals and ventures working on climate, environmental and social innovation. HOSX fosters a collaborative network where members can connect with like-minded engineers and innovators, co-host events, and access support to amplify their sustainable projects and ideas. By bridging industry and sustainability, The Hub on SX is growing a community of changemakers in Perth's port city, backed by award-winning leadership in green business practices.

Established in 2019, a working group of 14 committed members organised a ‘Creating Climate Solutions in WA Agribusiness Forum’ at UWA within 3 months of formation. There, the 60 primary industry attendees agreed to contribute to the movement. The forum attendees created three key goals which make up our mission statement to ‘share positive stories about responses to climate change from Western Australian primary industries, share climate change related information and research, and contribute to evidence-based primary industries policy responses to climate change.’
