The Indian Ocean Craft Triennial (IOTA) is a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Western Australia that connects artists, curators and communities across the Indian Ocean region through contemporary craft. Every three years, IOTA presents a major international exhibition alongside a statewide festival, conference, residencies, exchanges, and public programs, fostering collaboration and cultural exchange between artists in Australia and Indian Ocean countries. IOTA champions contemporary craft, builds networks, and supports the sector’s artistic, cultural, and economic development.
