Over a 7-month part-time curriculum, it brings together multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, engineers, researchers and business professionals to identify unmet clinical needs and systematically develop viable healthcare solutions. Participants undergo clinical immersions, attend intensive bootcamps and receive mentorship from industry experts as they progress from problem validation to prototyping and business case development. Since its inception, Perth Biodesign has cultivated medtech innovators and early-stage startups, strengthening Western Australia's health innovation ecosystem through experiential learning.
